THE FIRST CRAFT SINGLE MALT DISTILLERY IN KOREA

Our distillery is nestled in the Namyangju mountains, north-east of Seoul.

In summer, our spirits are baked in the Korean sunshine and the heat allows the spirit to penetrate deep into the wood.

In winter the sunlight doesn’t rise above the Baekbong mountain casting a long winter shadow over our spirit,
while the extreme cold pushes it out into the cask having extracted an array of aromas.

We hope to showcase how the distinct local four seasons helps the unique maturation and dynamic flavors of Korea's first single malt whisky.

    Dedication to the craft is engrained in our team.
    We have experience in distillation that spans over 44 years and take pride in our no compromise attitude for the best spirits.

  • REINTERPRETATION
    OF TRADITION

    Traditional methods are our foundation and helps us make world class spirits however, we are always trying to innovate with new ways.
    For example, why not use different woods to mature our spirits if it creates a bolder and tastier product?
    Why not collaborate with traditional liquor distillers in Korea to add a bit of different flavor?

  • QUALITY

    We do not take short cuts on our ingredients or wood. We use the best malt from the UK and only the best woods to age our spirits. Most of our wood comes from Kentucky but we also use Oloroso, PX Sherry casks, Maderia, Port, and French Oak from Europe, among others. We will experiment with other woods from around the world as long as quality never takes a back seat.
